Terms and Conditions Last updated: [10/8/2026] These terms govern your use of the AL Wassit RIM app. By using the app or creating an account you accept these terms. Who may use the app To use the app you must be at least [18] years old and legally able to enter into contracts. If you use it on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. 2. Your account and your responsibility for it - You undertake that the data you provide is accurate and complete, and that you will update it when it changes. - The account is personal. You may not give others access to it, sell it, or transfer it. - You are responsible for everything done through your account, and for keeping your password safe. - Tell us immediately if you suspect someone else is using your account. 3. The app's role AL Wassit RIM is an intermediary platform that lets users list items, bid on them, and contact one another. We are not a seller, not a buyer, and not a party to any transaction that arises between users. Accordingly: - We do not own, hold, or inspect the items listed. - We do not warrant the accuracy of any item's description, its quality, its safety, that the lister owns it, or that they are entitled to sell it. - We do not warrant that any bidder is serious, able to pay, or will complete the purchase. - Any contract arising from an auction is between the seller and the buyer. Delivery of the item, collection of its price, and any dispute over it are their responsibility. We advise you to verify the item and the other party before completing any transaction, and to prefer handover in person in a safe place. 4. Publishing ads - You alone are responsible for the content of your ad: its description, photos, price, and the accuracy of its details. - You confirm that you own the item or have the right to dispose of it, and that you have the right to use the images you upload. - The description must match reality, and you must disclose any material defect in the item. - We may recategorise, suspend, or remove an ad if it breaches these terms or applicable law, or if a valid report is received about it. 5. Auctions and bidding - A bid is a commitment. By placing a bid you offer to buy the item at the amount offered, and you may not withdraw it. - Bids are recorded in real time. The valid bid is the one recorded in our system, and that record governs in the event of disagreement. - If you win an auction you are bound to complete the purchase on the terms the seller announced. - We may cancel a bid or an entire auction where manipulation, sham bidding, or a technical fault affecting the auction is established. - Repeatedly failing to complete a purchase you have won exposes your account to suspension or termination. - Loss of network, loss of power, or a fault in your device is not an excuse that invalidates a bid already recorded. 6. Prohibited content and items Listing or promoting the following through the app is prohibited: - Anything prohibited by the law in force in Mauritania - Weapons, ammunition, and explosives - Narcotics, intoxicants, and controlled substances - Licensed medicines and medical supplies - Protected animals, their parts, and their products - Counterfeit goods and goods infringing the rights of others - Official documents, identity papers, payment cards, and account credentials - Content contrary to public morals, offensive to religion, or inciting hatred or violence - Unlicensed financial services and money transfers Also prohibited: impersonating another person, circumventing the bidding system, sham bidding to inflate a price, publishing other people's personal data, sending unsolicited promotional messages, and attempting to breach, disrupt, or automatically extract data from the app. 7. Balance and fees - The app may include an in-app balance used to publish ads or take part in auctions, as presented at the time you carry out the operation. - Any fee or commission is shown before the operation is carried out. We do not take an amount that was not presented to you. - Balance spent on a service actually rendered is non-refundable, unless the deduction resulted from an error on our side. - You are responsible for any tax or regulatory obligation arising from your transactions. - The balance record in our system governs. We may correct an entry proven to be erroneous, and will notify you when we do. 8. Complaints and reports You can report any ad or user from inside the app. We review what we receive and take the action we consider necessary, which may include removing the ad or suspending the account. We are not obliged to disclose the details of action taken against another account. 9. Suspension and termination We may suspend or terminate your account, with notice or without it where necessary, in cases of: - Breach of these terms - Providing inaccurate information - Fraud, manipulation of auctions, or harm to other users - Using the app for an unlawful purpose You may delete your account at any time from inside the app. Terminating an account does not release you from any obligation existing before termination. 10. Intellectual property The app, its name, logo, design, and software content belong to its operator. They may not be copied, modified, republished, or used commercially without written permission. Content you upload remains yours. Under these terms you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it inside the app and in connection with promoting the service. That licence ends when the content or the account is deleted. 11. Limitation of liability - The app is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that it will be free of interruption or error. - We are not liable for damage arising from a transaction between users, or from your reliance on content published by another user. - We are not liable for anything arising from network outages, third-party services, or causes outside our reasonable control. - In all cases, our liability to you shall not exceed the amounts you have actually paid us in the [number] months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not cover anything that may not lawfully be excluded. 12. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and the courts of [city] have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. 13. Changes to these terms We may amend these terms. We will notify you of material changes inside the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect means you accept it. If you do not accept it, you may delete your account. 14.
